late nights and loud fights
it's all just a blur

For every shot there's a reason

I really need to go over what happened last night and lie down some ground rules on drinking. It's a long story, and after I go pack, we'll get to it. Be well.

Here's where we end up, it's a little late, but whatever. Anyway, I went to Jessa's as we know. We went to a frat party, that we know. So we walk in there, typical frat party, not much going on. But, well after we find Jessa's object of affection, Jeremey, who's trashed beyond belief, she goes upstairs. She ends up asking some guy named Zane where the liquor is, he directs her. She ends up taking two shots, one Jim Beam the other JD, on top of the two of apple vodka she had.

She's not too experienced with alcohol if you haven't guessed. On food that was 3 hours old, she got smashed, and fast. It went from bad to worse as we classified her as drunk and then plastered or wasted. Ah the joy of it all. So I spent the entire night DRAGGING her around, keeping her moving, eating and drinking water. Trying my best to sober her up. It didn't work so well and I can only imagine what would have happend had we not been there.

Well, we end up letting her do her thing, learn some lessons as she kissed a very drunk upperclassman named Mark, or Matt, I forget. Anyway, she learned a little and eventually after crying for Jeremy like 10 times, we got her home. We promptly played games and such to stay awake. I think she learned her lesson, but maybe not, ya know? She's still gonna go farther, that much I know. Anyway, those ten comandments:

1) Don't drink by yourself

2) Know your personal limits, and don't push them, unless you're COMPLETELY under control

3) At frat parties, drink beer, when out socially drinking, go for the lighter stuff, it may take a while to get used to Keystone Light, but do it, fast

4) Always have someone around you sober, a drinking buddy of sorts, they keep you out of trouble, and if you see them start drinking, YOU stop

5) Watch out for boys when drunk, on either end, they either say things they really mean, or really don't

6) Don't mix drinks, Jimmy Beam and JD don't go well together, and always remember, Tequila, no matter how expensive, never agrees with anything

7) Focus on the person you are, sure drinking is fun, but it gets you a reputation

8) You don't remember your actions on alcohol, don't fool yourself into remembering you do, make sure you keep track of when you drink so that it doesn't become too close

9) Um, I'm running out of good ideas. Oh yeah, don't try to profess feelings drunk, it doesn't work out at all, I mean we spend most of our time sober, so why let out your biggest secret then?

10) and lastly, more than anything, be as responsible as you know how to be, getting drunk may be fun, but watching drunk people is fun too, and most of the time they don't realize you aren't drunk, so it may not matter, just be careful.

That's beautiful.
