late nights and loud fights
it's all just a blur

It's Been A Long Day

Step one: find a place with as few people as you know, but still one to add a bit of intrigue.

Step two: pick your character. Are you a chain smoking seductress? Are you the sweet and innocent naivet? Are you the witty smart one who knows way too much? Don't pick yourself, take a quality that you like or don't like and amplify it by ten, become one of "those" people.

Step three: play your part out as you see fit. If feeling like you want to be noticed, make a scene. If you want the attention of a few, go outside to smoke or watch people very carefully (when they notice you watching them they start to notice you more and more). Play your character's part to the best of your ability.

Step four: step back and admire your progress. If you've played this game well you will be talked about and focused on. The people you pick will be interesting and most likely, when you run into perhaps your friend or what not, they will make a broad statement about what they thought of you, "oh you're the girl who..." In general it will give you a completely new perspective on how people react to certain personalities (it's hard to see it with your own), and how people label people on a general level.

Plus you get to not be you for a night.

Play the wardrobe into it, do some things you never would do, enjoy yourself a little too much and take complete and utter control of the situation for once.

It feels nice.
